Yoga For Health

Yoga For Exercise Or Alternative Medicine

Nintendo Does Yoga With The New Nintendo Fit.

Nintendo has taken gaming to the next level. No more sitting on the couch for hours on end as parents and loved ones try unsuccessfully to pry that game controller out of the hands of their beloved GAMER. Instead Nintendo has taken a different approach to gaming altogether. The Nintendo is simply less superior to it’s competitors like the Xbox 360 and the playstation 3 but what it lacks in graphical capabilities it more than makes up for with it’s cutting edge interactivity making the player become “one” with the game. (How Zen of Nintendo)

So what the heck does Nintendo have to do with my Yoga For Health site you ask? Well after having seen the Nintendo Fit in action I was pleasantly surprised to see that listed among the list of games within the FIT was Yoga. The participant stands on a Balance Board and performs a series of Yoga poses.

Some of the neat features of the Nintendo FIT is that it allows you to input your personal information like your weight and height and it will determine your BMI( Body Mass Index).

When performing the Yoga poses the Nintendo Fit actually tells you your center of gravity which is such an important aspect of Yoga. It also instructs you on breathing which is yet another important aspect of Yoga.

The Nintendo Fit will keep track of all of your stats from your Yoga routine so you can tell if you’re improving and to what degree. Another benefit of the Nintendo FIT is that you can input external information such as attending a Yoga class or Performing a Video Yoga Routine over the Internet.

So as you can see this is why I just had to write about the Nintendo FIT on Ivechosenhealth.com. It just seemed to be the perfect “FIT”…(Excuse the pun but I had to).

I have included a video in this post because I figured if a pictures is worth a thousand words then a video would speak volumes.

Don’t forget to leave a comment…I would love to hear if you’ve tried Nintendo
